Panda Express Kids Menu: Cub Meal Prices & What’s Included
Ordering for a child at Panda Express is much simpler than it first looks. The Panda Express Kids Menu is built around one choice, the Panda Cub Meal, so portions are clear. For the wider choice, start on the Panda Express menu homepage, then come back here for the kids’ details.
In short, a Cub Meal is a junior-sized Panda Express plate, made for a smaller appetite, with a fruit side and a drink made for kids. The Panda Express Kids Menu keeps that idea simple, so ordering takes only a moment.
What Is Included in a Panda Cub Meal?
Every standard Panda Cub Meal follows the same formula: one junior side, one junior entrée, a fruit side, and a drink. The fruit side is Tree Top Apple Crisps, a 0.34-ounce pack, and the drink is bottled water or Honest Kids Appley Ever After juice.
- One junior side (junior base).
- One junior entrée.
- Tree Top Apple Crisps as the fruit side.
- Bottled water or Honest Kids juice as the drink.
Junior portions are smaller than adult servings. Junior Orange Chicken is 4 ounces, against 6.2 ounces for adults. Set meals also add Super Greens.

The Four Cub Meal Builds
The Panda Express Kids Menu offers four builds. Three are set meals, and the fourth lets your child choose.
- Orange Chicken Cub Meal: White Steamed Rice, Super Greens, and junior Original Orange Chicken.
- Grilled Teriyaki Chicken Cub Meal: Chow Mein, Super Greens, and junior Grilled Teriyaki Chicken.
- Broccoli Beef Cub Meal: White Steamed Rice, Super Greens, and junior Broccoli Beef.
- Build Your Own Cub Meal: one junior side and one junior entrée of your child’s choosing.
Each set meal also includes the fruit side and drink above. Set builds make ordering quick, while Build Your Own suits a pickier eater.
Panda Cub Meal Prices: What to Expect
For the Panda Express Kids Menu, a Cub Meal starts at $6.80 in official ordering, but your store sets the final price. Most stores checked in November 2026 charged about $8.20 to $9.60, from $8.20 in Charlotte and Orlando to $9.60 in Santa Clara and San Jose. Delivery can take it past $10, with one Los Angeles store at $10.45.
All four builds cost the same at every store checked. Premium entrées may add a small upcharge — the store confirms it before you pay. A Cub Meal also costs 850 points in the Panda Rewards ladder.
Calories and the Under-600 Promise
On the Panda Express Kids Menu, each of the three set meals is made to be under 600 calories, based on USDA dietary recommendations for children, with nutritious vegetables and one serving of fruit. Official ordering ranges differ by store, from 300 to 530 calories at one store to 300 to 740 calories at others, the wider range appearing to cover Build Your Own. For the full per-item chart, see our Panda Express nutrition guide. See also the official Cub Meal details at Panda Express.
Set meals are an excellent source of fibre, with more than 11 grams of protein, no high fructose corn syrup, and low cholesterol.

Substitutions, Drinks and Ordering Tips
On the Panda Express Kids Menu, substitution of any side, entrée and beverage is allowed by request, so you can swap a side, change the entrée, or switch the drink. Ask at the counter or note it when ordering.
On the Panda Express Kids Menu, the drink included is bottled water or Honest Kids juice; for the wider choice, see our Panda Express drinks menu.
Prices and availability vary by location, and the Cub Meal is offered at participating locations.
Cub Meal vs Family Meal
A Cub Meal is made for one child, while a Family Meal is made to share across a group. The junior portion, fruit side and drink in one price keeps ordering simple; for a family, sharing larger entrées and sides usually makes more sense.
